Woman I
I was born in Valencia in 1970. After graduating in Economics, it became clear to me the need for a change of direction. In the quest for this, I took the opportunity to travel. I spent some time in Paris and coming to England, I settled in Reading and eventually moved to London. This became the place where my career as an artist took shape; I became involved in mounting and participating in exhibitions in eclectic spaces. This gave me the freedom to develop my own artistic expression.

Recycling profoundly interests and attracts me: using a rusted springbed in representation of a three-dimensional Pollock or a postman uniform sleeve enquiring about his location. Also the extraordinary side of daily phenomena, feelings, human relations; that which exists and we do not see.

My method of creation is a constant investigation, an observation in which the creative process explodes.  It is an adventure with a specific beginning, but without a stipulated end. I continue and continue until the idea, the concept takes form. I find objects or create them and later assemble them. They get transformed into a new entity. And so I see exciting and experimental vistas unfolding.
